DIRECT SPEECH DAN INDIRECT SPEECH

^ Direct speech adalah kalimat langsung yang kita ucapkan . Ciri-ciri kalimat ini yaitu biasanya terdapat tanda kutip sebelum penulisan dan sesudahnya . Direct speech bisa menggunakan simple present , past , bahkan perfect tense .
^ Indirect speech yaitu kalimat tidak langsung . Kalimat ini biasanya kita gunakan saat kita menyampaikan kata-kata yang telah orang lain ucapkan/titipesankan pada kita kepada teman atau orang lain yang dituju.


Example :

1. Direct Speech : "Where do you see a dog ?", said Intan .
                               "I work hard ", said Afhan .
                               " I don't think see anymore !", said Rayhan.
                               " Do you understand ?", said the teacher .

2. Indirect Speech : Mother said that we were handsome .
                                 Father asked them where the phone is .
                                 The Witness said that 20 houses had been destroyed .


3. Sentence and The King for change to indirect speech : 

1.If the sentences of direct speech use present tense , for indirect change to past tense .
2.If the sentences of direct speech use past tense , for indirect change topast perfect tense .
3.If the sentences are question word yes/no use "if " for indirect speech
